      Frame Installation

Recommended distance between the floor and lower frame horizontal:
      • T-height (1644): 300 mm from the floor
      • S-height (1844): 100 mm from the floor

      1. Place the frame in the opening.
      2. Fasten the frame.
        1. Fasten the frame with clamps.
        2. Use a spacer at the top of the frame to prevent distortion.
        3. Check the lower horizontal alignment with a spirit level.
        4. Fasten the lower horizontal with the screws provided.
      3. Check diagonals and sides.
        1. Make sure both diagonals are equally long.

        1. Mount the first frame.
        2. Fasten the adjoiner with the screws provided.

      Door Installation

Note: For re-hinging the door, see Reversible Door below.
      1. Spring and mounting plate.
        1. Place the door hold-open spring on the mounting plate pin.
        2. Place the mounting plate pin on the lower horizontal.
      2. Position the door.
        1. Lift the door into the frame to engage the upper hinge pin into the frame.
        2. Place the door on the hinge plate, fitting the door pin into the hole. Use the adjustment key provided to fit the door.
      3. Power supply door (only for freezer applications)
Note: Make sure that the power supply for the system is disconnected.
        1. Pull out the door plug from the frame.
        2. Connect the plugs and press them gently into the frame.
        3. Fasten the cover plate where the door cord exits.
        4. Check that the cable runs smoothly in the door profile.
      4. Mount the security plate.
Note: The security plate is required to keep the door in position.
        1. Loosen the screw holding the security plate on top of the door.
        2. Move the security plate forward until the hinge is lifted to the maximum height possible.
        3. Tighten the screw to fix the security plate into position.
      5. Adjust the door-closing tension spring.
Note: Correct adjustment of the spring ensures correct function of the self-closing mechanism. Adjust the door-closing tension by inserting a hexagonal wrench (4 mm) into the hold in the door and rotate the tool approximately 3 "clicks." Correct tension is achieved when the door is opened 2 cm and then closes by itself.
        1. Right-hinged door.
        2. Left-hinged door.
      6. Adjust a sagging door.
        1. Loosen the screws of the hinge plate on the bottom of the frame.
        2. Move the plate to the desired position. The plate can be moved 2 mm in each direction.
        3. Make sure that the screws of the hinge plate are tightened.

      Door Hold-Open Spring

To keep the door open, move the hold-open spring forward. The hold-open spring is released when the door is closed.
Note: You will hear a loud click, this is perfectly normal.

      Electric Connection

Important: Installation and service must be carried out only by an authorised electrician.

      1. After installation of the frames and doors, the cables for connection are brought through the two holes in the upper frame horizontal on the cold side (1B and 1C).
        1. Remove the cover plate to allow connection.
        2. Connect the heating wires.
        3. Connect the lighting wires (see the Wiring Diagram below).
      2. Choose a wire area according to the actual load. The feed conductor for the electrical connection must have a multi-pole switch.
Note: See the Ballast Type Plate for the voltage limitation at start-up.
